AFRIC – Mozambique Observation Mission Press Release

The Association of Free Research and International Cooperation (AFRIC) would like to take this opportunity to proudly announce that AFRIC will be deploying approximately 62 international observers as part of our contingency to observe the 2019 Mozambiquan presidential elections scheduled to be held on the 15th of October.

Making up AFRIC’s international observer contingency are members who hail from12 countries and 3 continents (Africa, Asia and Europe). On the day of the elections observers will visit polling stations across Mozambique’s 10 provinces to ensure broad spectrum coverage. Press conferences will held and reports will be compiled which will objectively reflect events observed during the elections.

This follows on from an active 14 months for AFRIC which include successful observer missions to Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of South Africa.

AFRIC is looking forward to participating in this special mission and engaging with all levels of a diverse Mozambiquan society in the process. We therefore take this opportunity to wish all the citizens a successful 2019 presidential election which will ultimately reflect the will of the people.

On October, 14 at 5pm AFRIC observers are holding a press conference in Africa hotel Maputo. Invitation available here Conferência_de_Imprensa_Preliminar.
